Is There One Question You Would Like Help With?
Maybe prayer feels one-sided, or you finish reading the Bible and wonder what you just read. You do not have to solve every part of your spiritual life at once.
Choose the question that feels most familiar and begin there.
A Few Questions You May Want to Sit With
Each of these short teachings begins with a question many of us have asked while trying to understand how God speaks and how He sees us.
Stop Asking God to Speak and Try This Instead
Is God Disappointed in You?
Will God Still Speak to Me?
What Have You Been Wondering About?
Does prayer feel one-sided?
We can look at what it means to make room for a response when prayer feels like talking into the air.
How does the Bible connect with your life?
We can consider how reading the Bible becomes part of a relationship instead of another box to check.
How can you test what you sense?
We can examine how Scripture, God’s character, and confirmation help us test a thought without believing everything or dismissing everything.
How does God lead us during an ordinary day?
We can look for God while we work, care for our families, and make the decisions that are already in front of us.
Here Is Something You May Want to Try
Think about one moment from the past week that caused you to pause. Maybe a verse stayed with you, someone said something you needed to hear, or the same conviction continued returning.
Write the moment down without deciding too quickly what it means. Ask God to give you clarity, and then notice whether the thought agrees with Scripture, reflects His character, and is confirmed in another way. This is not a formula, but it can help us slow down long enough to pay attention.
Would You Like to See How These Ideas Fit Together?
The seminar brings these questions into one conversation. We begin with who God is and who we are in Jesus, then consider the blockers that may be getting in the way, how to read Scripture in its context, the ways God speaks, listening prayer, and how we recognize His guidance in everyday life.
